This season the New Hampshire LEGO League fielded five teams to participate in the FIRST LEGO and Jr FIRST LEGO programs. Each team focused on a different aspect of the natural disaster theme by looking at blizzards, earthquakes, volcanoes, floods, and asteroid strikes. With a short ten week window the teams were able to gain a detailed understanding of the problems that face people during natural disasters and develop some great solutions to those problems. Teams earned various recognition in areas of innovation, design, creativity and overall awards including a "Chairkids Award" and a statewide 3rd place finish at the FLL state competition.
